It's rare that I'd want to share what is essentially a review of my work, but I don't think I've seen one where someone so completely 'got' one of my albums as much as Joe Dorsey gets Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar. There are a lot of insightful connections drawn here that go beyond the album itself, into the origins and influences of classic video game composers like Nobuo Uematsu and Koji Kondo.
